Meet Jeff Green

MSW, LCSW-A

Supporting Children 8+, Teenagers, and Adults in North Carolina

You don’t have to carry it all on your own.

Through our work together, you can gain clarity, find greater balance, and build the confidence to move forward in a way that feels true to you.

Over time, you can begin creating a life that feels more grounded, connected, and calm, where you feel in control, supported, and fully yourself.

Hi, I’m Jeff

I’m honored to be part of your healing journey.

I became a therapist because I believe in the power of growth, self-reflection, and learning to let go of what no longer serves us. Therapy offers a space to gain new perspectives, feel understood, and move through life with greater clarity and intention. I value connection as a central part of the therapeutic process and strive to create an environment where clients feel supported as they navigate challenges, build insight, and work toward meaningful, lasting change.

Therapy is not about fixing what is “wrong” with you. It is about understanding what you have been carrying, how it has shaped you, and learning how to let go of what no longer serves you. Together, we can work toward clarity, relief, and a stronger sense of direction. That might look like feeling more calm in your body, building healthier relationships, setting boundaries without guilt, and replacing old patterns with tools that truly support your growth.

Meet Riley, Jeff’s Certified Therapy Dog

Riley is a 10-year-old tri-colored Australian Shepherd with a big personality and an even bigger heart. Affectionately known as Big Girl, Riles, and Sweet Mama, she loves belly rubs, back scratches, and being close to her people. Riley is full of energy and enjoys playing fetch, going for walks, and finding little ways to make people smile.

She has some fun quirks that clients quickly fall in love with. Riley will tilt her head when you talk to her, happily wiggle her whole body when she is excited, and “talk back” when she is getting extra attention. You may even catch her burrowing into a blanket or couch to get cozy.

Riley has been with Jeff since she was just 8 weeks old and has remained a constant, loyal companion ever since. She is highly motivated by food, toys, and connection, and is naturally drawn to people. Riley brings warmth, comfort, and a playful presence to the therapy space.

My Approach

Therapy with me is a laid-back, nonjudgmental, and collaborative process. In our first session, my goal is to create a space where you feel safe, seen, and heard, so you can be open without feeling pressure to have everything figured out. We will focus on what feels most important to you while gently exploring patterns, emotions, and experiences that may be shaping your life beneath the surface. Therapy is not about being perfect. It is about building a foundation for meaningful, positive change and a more grounded, balanced outlook on life.

I work with people who are feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or trying to make sense of things. You might feel like the weight of the world is on your shoulders, or like something in your life is no longer working. You may be exhausted from overthinking, stuck in the same patterns, or experiencing feelings you cannot quite put into words. If you are unsure what to do next or whether therapy is right for you, you are not alone.

My approach is flexible and centered around you. I draw from different therapy styles to help you better understand yourself, build practical tools, and feel more confident navigating what you’re going through, all at a pace that feels comfortable and supportive.
